Fencing
Wood fencing brings to mind the olden days of tiny cottages and pretty gardens.  Having
a garden fence helps you protect your garden areas and also lends it the right amount of
privacy.  Wood fencing has been used for century's to add to the decorative element to
the garden.  Having a wood fencing also helps reduce the cost factor for screening as
opposed to a masonry wall or a "Green" fence, which would consist of only plantings.  
Of course, it sometimes is nice to "soften" the look of a fence by installing plantings in
front of it.
